VIETTEL LAB
Viettel Lab was awarded a complete 4G LTE system that allows to provide a full range of basic services of the 4th generation telecommunications network.
This is the first and only complete 4G LTE network laboratory in Vietnam equipped for a university to serve research and teaching. The equipment equipped at this Lab is completely researched, developed and owned by Viettel.
The main systems at the lab are eNodeB transceiver stations, EPC (Evolved Packet Core) packet switching systems, systems for providing multimedia communication services on the basis of IP-IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) and OCS (Online Charging System) real-time billing system.
Students of the academy can perform End-to-End call simulation, simulate website access and mobile traffic, calculate voice and data service charges, perform Handover procedures with LTE network interfaces: S1, S6a, S5/S8, S10, Gx, Gy…
FPT LAB
The lab is sponsored by FPT Telecom, providing the Internet and installing materials and equipment for teaching and learning such as telecommunications equipment, television systems, projectors, television cables, high-speed Internet connections, cameras, etc.
Simulating all Internet operations and additional services of businesses, the telecommunications lab system will help the Academy’s students more conveniently in implementing research projects.
IoT LAB
The Lab with a series of advanced equipment to meet the latest textbooks, based on practical needs from the high-tech human resource market is extremely scarce, due to the huge demand in the context of the 4.0 technological revolution.
The IoT Lab is jointly built by the Academy and Lumi Vietnam Joint Stock Company to serve the teaching and scientific research process in the field of IoT and Smart Home, Smart Chip, etc.
