The inauguration ceremony for the establishment of the Radio – Electronics Sub-Association at the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology was solemnly held on December 25, 2024, marking a new milestone in connecting individuals and organizations operating in the field of radio and electronics in Vietnam. This significant event affirmed the Institute’s role in promoting scientific research and the application of modern technology.

The Radio and Electronics Association of Vietnam (REV), known in English as The Radio and Electronics Association of Vietnam, is a socio-professional organization for individuals and entities working in the field of radio and electronics in Vietnam or in related sectors. The establishment of a Sub-Association at PTIT reflects the Association’s recognition and appreciation of the Institute’s contributions to this field.

The ceremony was attended by senior representatives from the Radio and Electronics Association of Vietnam. Notably present were Dr. Tran Duc Lai, Chairman of the Association; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Canh Minh, Vice Chairman and General Secretary; Mr. Doan Quang Hoan, Vice Chairman; and Mr. Pham Van Anh, Executive Committee Member and General Secretary of the Journal of Electronics and Applications. All guests expressed high expectations for the role of the newly established Sub-Association in advancing scientific and technological activities.

From the side of the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology, the event was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Hoai Bac, Director of the Institute; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Tien Ban, Dean of Telecommunications Faculty I; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Chien Trinh, Vice Dean of Telecommunications Faculty I; Dr. Ngo Duc Thien, Head of the Office of Science, Technology Management and International Cooperation; Dr. Do Trung Anh, Deputy Head of the same office; along with faculty members from Telecommunications Faculty I and Electronics Faculty I. The large presence of delegates demonstrated strong support for this event.

In his speech, Dr. Tran Duc Lai emphasized that the establishment of the Sub-Association at PTIT not only enhances cooperation between the Association and the Institute but also opens new development opportunities in scientific research and technology transfer. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đặng Hoài Bắc expressed pride and a commitment to fully support the Sub-Association’s operations, contributing positively to the overall advancement of the radio and electronics field. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nugyen Tien Ban affirmed: “The establishment of the Sub-Association at the Institute is a crucial motivation to improve the quality of education and research, while also expanding opportunities for scientific collaboration in radio and electronics.”
